Job summary

Olin is seeking a Project Manager in Independence, MO to lead large, complex projects from planning through execution. You will coordinate internal teams and external contractors to deliver on time and within budget, while defining objectives and ensuring quality throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a technical or business field, 5+ years of experience, and strong communication skills. US citizenship and ITAR clearance-related vetting are required; some travel (<10%).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Technical, or Business related field.
• 5+ years recent relevant experience.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Experience in a small/medium caliber ammunition manufacturing facility preferred.
• Experience with USG or Department of Defense customers preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of preparing financial statements or project proposals.
• Some travel may be required, less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, cost proposals, and timelines.
• Forecast project costs during proposals and financial forecasting.
• Allocate resources, manage budgets, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.
• Serve as main point of contact for stakeholders, provide updates and manage expectations.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Monitor progress and apply quality controls to meet standards and specifications.
