Job summary

Olin is seeking a Program Manager - M&I in Independence, MO to lead engineering programs supporting production, modernization, and continuous improvement in an ammunition environment. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements, interact with stakeholders, and present status with clarity.

A 5+ year track record in program management, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in engineering, business administration/management, technical or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years in project or program management.
• Demonstrated leadership and communications skills.
• Superior analytical, organizational, problem-solving, leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), presentation and facilitation skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in ammunition manufacturing preferred.
• Some travel required, less than 10%.
• Must have or be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Level DoD clearance if required.
• Must have a valid US Driver's License.
• ITAR access may be required; employment contingent on export license approval if needed.
• Successful vetting as an Employee Possessor and for unescorted access per DoD policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct all program activities from startup to completion to ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor projects and oversee project managers to meet organizational goals.
• Devise new programs that support organizational objectives.
• Develop budgets and plans for programs, ensuring cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Ongoing evaluation and assessment of programs' performance and progress.
• Meet with stakeholders to discuss status and goals.
• Interpret and manage programs to ensure compliance with customer contracts and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present reports and presentations to internal and external customers as needed.
