The State of New Hampshire is seeking a Project Management & Innovation Unit Administrator in Concord to lead department-wide strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects. You will direct planning, implementation, and evaluation across complex programs to advance the agency mission.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, grant administration, RFPs, contracts, and performance measurement, with a focus on innovation and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience or an equivalent combo of education and experience.
• Relevant fields: public admin, business admin, planning, project management, operations management.
• License: valid driver's license and access to transportation for statewide travel.
• Background check: criminal and driving record review required.

Responsibilities

• Leads and consults on department-wide strategic initiatives and organizational improvement efforts.
• Directs and coordinates cross-agency project teams and manages resources and budgets.
• Identifies opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and processes, with policy and tech considerations.
• Develops and administers project budgets, oversees grants, RFPs, contracts, and expenditures.
• Implements organizational change plans, including communications and training.
• Supervises project management staff and collaborates with partners to secure funding.
