Job summary
The Children’s Cabinet in Reno, NV is seeking a Strategic Operations Manager to drive the agency’s strategic priorities through project management, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. You will report to the Chief Strategy & Operations Officer and coordinate initiatives across departments with a focus on process improvements and technology-enabled solutions.
The role requires leadership of complex projects, development of dashboards and reports, and effective communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 5+ years of project/ program management experience.
- Strong PM and organizational skills with ability to lead cross-functional projects.
- Experience implementing process improvements and operational initiatives.
- Proficient with Power BI, Power Automate, and SharePoint; comfortable with AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate implementation and monitoring of the agency's strategic plan.
- Translate goals into actionable work plans, milestones, and responsibilities.
- Develop an organizational scorecard and KPI system for leadership and Board.
- Prepare quarterly and annual strategic progress reports for executives.
- Lead cross-functional projects, remove barriers, and scale best practices.
- Design SOPs and drive adoption of new technologies and automation.
