Job summary

JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to oversee complex project logistics, manage subcontractor relationships, and drive business growth in the Houston market.

The role focuses on operational excellence, compliance, and client satisfaction while coordinating with clients, carriers, and internal teams. Ideal candidates will have a background in freight forwarding or logistics, strong communication skills, and a track record in project management and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5 years of project management, freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and vet sub-contractors/vendors to support capabilities.
• Maintain compliance with QHSSE, ethics, and process guidelines.
• Develop and manage client relationships and ensure high service levels.
• Coordinate with clients, carriers, and internal teams to execute complex project shipments.
• Negotiate with carriers for favorable terms and rates.
• Monitor financial forecasts, accounts receivable/payable, and KPI milestones.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and report progress to leadership.
• Support business development in SEA markets and internal reports.
