Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Manager of Project Management for its People Tech organization in Plano, TX. You will lead cross-functional initiatives across HR, Legal, Brand, and Global Workplace Services, delivering strategic outcomes and governance.

You will mentor teams, balance scope and timelines, and partner with senior leaders to drive high-impact results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or military experience.
At least 6 years of Project Management experience.
At least 2 years of Jira experience.

Responsibilities

Lead moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to teams, peers, and direct reports.
Design, develop, and adapt project plans in a fast-paced environment, revising requirements as needed to meet shifting goals.
Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance to proactively manage risks and guarantee on-time delivery.
Leverage strong problem-solving and analytical skills to ensure project execution aligns with business intent.
Serve as a strategic and tactical thought partner to project customers and cross-functional teams to drive seamless delivery.
Build strong relationships and leverage outstanding communication skills to inform, align, and influence stakeholders at all levels across the company.
Quickly implement clear frameworks and organization to effectively manage work within complex workstreams.
Lead with a coaching mindset to mentor, develop, and grow a team of associates.
