Job summary

Capital One seeks a Senior Manager, Project Management HR Strategic Operations to drive strategy and execution of high-priority HR projects. You will partner with HR leaders, design executive meeting agendas, and align multi-year roadmaps across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Strategic Operations, Project Management, Management Consulting, HR Strategy, Chief of Staff, HRBP role or combination
• At least 1 year of experience in roadmap alignment, governance structures, and change management
• At least 3 years of experience working with senior stakeholders across different business functions
• At least 3 years of experience writing communications and presentations for leadership and non-leadership audiences
• Exceptional writing and visual storytelling skills
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and influencing skills
• 3+ years of experience driving organizational change and operational excellence
• 2+ years of experience working closely with executives
• Familiarity with leveraging AI technologies to enhance operational productivity, analyze qualitative data insights, or streamline project delivery

Responsibilities

• Executive Governance & Decision Support: Drive the operating rhythm of the HR Senior Leadership Team with agendas that drive outcomes.
• Strategy Architecture: Support the multi-year HR strategy roadmap and ensure enterprise alignment.
• Organizational Health & Reporting: Define metrics and report on objectives and org health.
• High-Stakes Communications: Draft communications for executive forums and synthesize complex discussions.
• Culture Advocacy: Design initiatives to foster engagement and high performance within HR.
• AI Enablement & Process Innovation: Identify and pilot AI tools to improve workflows and data reporting.
