Job summary

Alberici Constructors is seeking a Project Business Manager to supervise and coordinate activities at a project site, focusing on financial performance, cost control, procurement, in-processing, scheduling and subcontract management.

The role requires strong leadership, discretion, and excellent communication across all levels, with extensive experience in cost accounting and contract risk management to ensure client satisfaction and profitable project delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 10 years’ related experience in construction project management with substantial exposure to financials.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the safe, effective and efficient operation of the department/work unit/project unit.
• Handles client change orders and decides when to request a change order and how to price the change order.
• Fully understands and fulfills contractual commitments to the client using Contract Risk Management.
• Maintains log of all contract changes and reviews project expense reports for accuracy.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
