Job summary

Alberici Constructors is seeking a Project Manager to lead estimating, scheduling, budgeting and contractor oversight on major North American projects. You will supervise start-up, monitor labor productivity, and ensure quality and regulatory compliance while coordinating with executives and clients.

Responsibilities include managing change orders, billing, and risk mitigation, traveling to project sites, and building strong client relations to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• 5-7 years’ experience in field construction project management with major scope.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with exposure to projects over $20 million.

Responsibilities

• Develops, maintains, updates, distributes and manages estimates.
• Informs VP/Project Director of needed change orders.
• Develops a detailed schedule with milestones and critical path to meet contractual obligations.
• Plans with the Superintendent to obtain necessary craft workers.
• Ensures project management plan aligns with client requirements.
• Oversees construction means and methods to meet quality specs and regulatory requirements.
• Builds positive relationships with client and client’s agents.
• Reviews costs against estimates and keeps project on budget.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field

5-7 years’ experience in field construction project management with exposure to major projects

Equivalent combination of education and experience with projects over $20 million
