Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. is seeking a Project Development Manager in the Washington, DC area to drive new business opportunities and manage client relationships across Higher Ed, K-12, Cultural, Life Science, and Healthcare markets.

You will network with architects, developers, owners and OPMs, lead proposal efforts, and monitor procurement portals to identify CM/G​C opportunities while advancing strategic Account Plans. Travel will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–15 years in business/project development within construction with proven client relationships.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Established network in designated territory/market.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships in designated territory/market.
• Monitor and evaluate geographic markets and trends for opportunities.
• Manage a broad pipeline aligned with Consigli CM model value proposition.
• Understand Account Plan strategies for key clients based on market, competitors, and client needs.
• Develop strategic relationships with architects, developers, owners and OPMs to identify qualified opportunities.
• Lead Go/No Go analyses and determine resources and timing of deliverables for proposals.
• Lead the proposal process and coordinate resources to keep proposals on track.
• Prepare interview teams with Operational Leads for successful interviews.
• Monitor procurement portals and government sites for CM / GC RFPs and RFQs.
• Engage in industry orgs and events to grow Consigli brand and network.
