Job summary

New York Power Authority seeks an experienced professional to manage daily operations and coordinate cost control for major projects in New York. You will oversee budgets, prepare capital expenditure proposals, and analyze investments in infrastructure and assets.

Responsibilities include cash flow reporting, cost forecasting, and serving as the cost management liaison with project teams, owners, vendors, and contractors. Travel up to 30% within NYS may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; related experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of project-related work experience.
• Significant experience managing projects or conducting project analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of work breakdown structures to initiate/update funding.
• Develop/update project cash flow, variance, and accrual reports.
• Assist Owners with cost information for Trustee items and bid pricing sections.
• Act as point of contact for project teams on project financials.
• Ensure best practices in project cost management are followed.
• Coordinate cost information with internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain department procedures and processes.
• Monitor invoices, estimates, and timely payments.
• Coordinate cost updates with project schedules and milestones.
