Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or related field is required.
• Advanced degree (MBA) preferred; ABET accreditation is favorable.
• Minimum 5 years in construction or utility sectors with portfolio/program experience.
• Experience leading teams and providing work direction; PMP/AACE preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares portfolio level analysis and reporting of financial control, resource utilization, risk, change management, and unplanned work.
• Leads reviews of significant initiatives with alignment to portfolio's objectives and cost targets.
• Ensures governance adherence per portfolio and project guidelines and policies.
• Creates and maintains a 10-year portfolio plan.
• Prepares monthly status reports with cost, schedule data and trend analysis.
• Leads monthly portfolio review sessions with stakeholders on variance and forecast values.
• Drives continual improvement for portfolio and controls deliverables.
• Assesses portfolio performance and works with teams to maintain forecast accuracy.
• Provides feedback and ideas to improve group performance.
• Supports business case development for projects/programs.
