Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and cross-functional teams from initiation through closeout.

The role emphasizes proactive coordination, issue resolution, and delivering organized, on-schedule projects for Federal Government clients. Working closely with project stakeholders, you’ll develop understanding of each Project Manager’s workflow, assuming increasing responsibility over time and enabling technical leadership focus for managers.

Qualifications

• At least two years of college-level coursework or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of project coordination experience in the architecture and engineering industry, preferred.
• Experience utilizing SpecsIntact and MasterSpec software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner proactively with Project Managers and technical teams to coordinate project activities and support fast-paced, successful project delivery.
• Manage electronic and physical project documentation, including filing, document control, scanning, tracking, distribution, and record management.
• Coordinate project meetings by scheduling, preparing agendas, capturing action items, and following up on outstanding tasks.
• Manage Outlook calendars, coordinate travel, and organize meetings with internal teams, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Review, coordinate, and assist with processing project documentation, including submittals, invoices, and other project related administrative workflows.
• Coordinate subcontractor documentation and assist with project setup, closeout, and ongoing project administration.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, action items, and deliverables to help ensure projects remain organized and on track.
• Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and integral project teams while serving as a trusted point of coordination/contact.
