Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Project Manager with Civil Works experience to lead multi-discipline design projects for federal DoD clients and defense contractors. You will oversee waterfront, coastal and infrastructure initiatives from design through construction, coordinating engineers and architects to deliver value.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, proposals, client relations, and project teams in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• Experience as a client facing Design Project Manager on Civil Works.
• 15+ years in civil works infrastructure design.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Professional Registration (PE) and US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time and on budget.
• Serve as primary client contact from start to finish.
• Develop proposal fees and scope with discipline leads and negotiate with clients.
• Create and manage communication plans and conduct status meetings.
• Monitor financial metrics, schedules, and staffing for each project.
• Ensure quality and adherence to Jacobs Quality Program.
