Job summary

SMS InfoComm in Grapevine, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Project Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute company projects, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.

You will partner with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, maintain documentation, use MS Project or similar tools, and drive clear communication and issue resolution.

A Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years of project coordination experience are preferred; familiarity with Agile or Waterfall is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination or support roles, preferably in a corporate or team-driven environment.
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello, Monday.com) and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of assigned projects under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• Track and update project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, reports, and action item logs.
• Act as a liaison between team members, stakeholders, and departments to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals.
• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, distribute agendas, and follow up on action items.
• Create and manage project documentation, including status reports, tracking sheets, and presentations.
