Job summary

RP Constructors, LLC is seeking a Project Accountant to own customer/project billing, accounts receivable, project financial reporting and detailed project-accounting support. The role is a highly involved financial partner to Project Managers and ensures billing, billed-to-date and WIP information are accurate and tied to the accounting records.

The position also supports Davis-Bacon and related compliance, coordinates month-end close, and provides PMs with timely financial insights to drive

Qualifications

• Mid-level construction project-accounting experience preferred.
• Strong billing, AR, job-cost and WIP skills.
• Ability to work directly with PMs, meet deadlines and reconcile detailed financial information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer/project billings and AR follow-up.
• Maintain project-level financial information and provide PMs with visibility into billing, cost, WIP and receivables.
• Support job-cost accuracy and WIP preparation/review.
• Collaborate with PMs on T&M documentation, billing support and change-order impacts.
• Assist with Davis-Bacon and other project-specific compliance documentation.
• Complete month-end project reconciliations and tie balances to relevant accounts.
