Job summary

Resource Options, Inc., a growing construction staffing and project services firm, seeks an Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to manage high-volume progress billing and collections across multiple active projects in Attleboro, MA.

You will prepare AIA-style pay applications, track change orders, verify percentage-of-completion data with project managers, and maintain lien waivers and retainage documentation to ensure strong cash flow. 3+ years of construction billing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of billing/AR experience, preferably in construction or a related project-based industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Procore, or similar accounting/job-cost software
• Familiarity with AIA billing, retainage, and lien waiver requirements preferred
• Strong communication skills for client and internal follow-up
• High attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit monthly AIA-style pay applications (G702/G703) based on project milestones across multiple projects
• Track, verify, and incorporate approved change orders into billing cycles to ensure full cost recovery
• Partner with Project Managers and Engineers to confirm percentage-of-completion data before billing
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding payments, and resolve billing disputes to maintain cash flow
• Maintain retainage tracking and lien waiver documentation in compliance with contract terms
• Reconcile customer accounts and support month-end close with AR aging reports

We are seeking a dependable Accounts Receivable/Billing Specialist to manage high-volume progress billing and collections across multiple active projects. This role is critical to maintaining healthy cash flow through accurate billing, timely collections, and proper documentation.
