Job summary

RP Constructors, LLC is seeking a Project Accountant to own customer and project billing, AR follow-up, and project-level financial reporting. This role serves as a financial partner to Project Managers, ensuring billing accuracy and proper linkage of WIP to the accounting records.

The candidate will support job-cost accuracy, reconcile differences across systems, and work with PMs on T&M documentation and change-order impacts. Compliance and month-end close activities are also part of the scope.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with project billing, accounts receivable, and project-cost reporting.
• Ability to tie invoicing and WIP to accounting records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with PMs and HR/payroll as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer/project billings and AR follow-up.
• Maintain billing schedules and contract billing requirements.
• Provide PMs with visibility into billing, cost, WIP and receivables.
• Support job-cost accuracy and WIP preparation/review.
• Coordinate billing/documentation with PMs and compliance teammates.
• Perform month-end tie-outs between invoicing, billed-to-date and WIP.
