Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a seasoned Project/Program Manager to oversee large, high-visibility initiatives within a public-sector setting in Michigan. You will lead strategic projects spanning multiple years, align with executive stakeholders, and ensure adherence to the SUITE project management methodology and budget/schedule targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience applying Project Management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience working within an agile release governance structure.
• 5+ years of experience resolving conflicts and managing competing requirements.
• 5+ years of experience communicating stakeholder needs clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage engagement with stakeholders and vendors, dedicating 15–20% of time to executive-level communication and sponsor meetings.
• Coordinate between product owners, development leadership and business stakeholders to align release scope.
• Demonstrate ownership of programs with governance structures and independent execution from initiation to closeout.
• Provide planning, staffing and reporting across the project lifecycle per SUITE methodology and prioritization process.
• Establish intake processes and governance frameworks in ambiguous environments.
• Contribute to the Department of Technology, Management & Budget operations as needed.
