Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Business Operations Manager to partner with the Strategic Program Management team and deliver structured planning, reporting, and operational processes that provide leadership with clear views of priorities, progress, resources, risks, and decisions.

You will work across product, engineering, go-to-market, finance, and operations to translate business needs into organized workflows and actionable insights, driving scalable, data-driven execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with several years of related experience.
• Experience in business operations, planning, program management, or similar roles.
• Experience supporting cross-functional planning, operating cadences, reporting, or process improvement in fast-paced environments.
• Experience using data to analyze and develop insights, track performance, and support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage business operating rhythms, including planning cycles, team cadences, action tracking, and follow-up on key decisions and commitments.
• Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics that help leaders understand business health and progress against priorities.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams by maintaining plans, dependencies, meeting outcomes, risks, and stakeholder communications.
• Analyze operational data and team feedback to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve processes and resource use.
• Support annual and quarterly planning by collecting inputs, consolidating plans, tracking milestones, and preparing materials for leadership reviews.
• Design, document, and improve scalable processes, templates, and operating mechanisms to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
• Enable teams to adopt business tools and automation that improve visibility, accountability, and speed of execution.
