Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pueblo and Penrose, CO is seeking a Program Manager to lead a portfolio across solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives. The role reports to the General Manager and is based onsite with hybrid options for qualified candidates.

The position requires a strong background in engineering/management, 10+ years in project or operations management, and active experience with defense or government programs. A U.S. security clearance is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or management (or equivalent experience).
10 years of experience in project or supply chain management and operations.
Experience managing defense or government projects.
Experience negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, or customers.
Experience with project management software to manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive, coordinated plans for a portfolio of 3-10 projects, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and government agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
Monitor and project budgets/financials, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage and communicate scope changes, ensuring alignment with program goals and customer expectations.
