Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Program Manager for Strategic Systems to lead a portfolio of 3-5 projects across solid rocket motors, chemicals, and explosives. You will report to the General Manager of Voyager Energetics and help coordinate efforts with the lead engineer in Pueblo and Penrose, CO.

This onsite role emphasizes rigorous planning and strategic execution. You will oversee budgets, schedules, risk assessments, and inter-team communication while ensuring alignment with customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or management (or equivalent experience).
• 2 years of experience in project or supply chain management and operations.
• Experience managing defense or government projects.
• Experience negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, or customers.
• Experience with project management software to manage schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive, coordinated plans for a portfolio of 3-5 projects, including scope, schedule, cost estimates, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams, clients, and government agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
• Monitor and project budgets/financials, ensuring adherence to financial targets and cost management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage and communicate scope changes, ensuring alignment with program goals and customer expectations.
