Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Reno, NV is seeking a Program Manager V for Defense & National Security. This onsite or hybrid role leads all phases of program execution, routing monthly reports, CDRLs, and presentations to large technical teams, subcontractors, and customers.

The role reports to the Director of Advanced Technology Programs within the Science & Technologies department, based in Reno, NV. Travel up to 25% and DoD security clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering. May consider equivalent experience.
• 20+ years of program management experience including 10-15 years managing DoD propulsion related programs.
• Experience generating, managing, and owning Integrated Master Schedules, Integrated Master Plans, Earned Value Management.
• Direct experience in managing large Subcontracts.
• Experience briefing executive management and customers on program status, risks, and future plans.
• Experience managing programs for the U.S. Government Customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and monitor projects to ensure scope, schedule, and budget are maintained.
• Define, generate, and review program management material.
• Ensure resources (engineering, manpower, facilities) are available for the program.
• Coordinate with staff to provide direction on budgeting and execution.
• Ensure program deliverables are met satisfactorily.
• Identify and elevate risks and issues early to management.
• Serve as primary customer contact for project information.
• Pursue follow-on and new business opportunities with customers.
