Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Principal Project Engineer for its Strategic Systems line in Penrose/Pueblo, Colorado. You will lead end-to-end execution of solid rocket motor programs and shape technical direction across the SRM portfolio.

The role requires deep SRM domain expertise, a track record of delivering complex defense programs, and ability to mentor engineers while growing cross-program influence. On-site in Penrose/Pueblo, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, or closely related engineering or science field with 10 years of combined technical engineering and project engineering or project management experience OR 14 years of combined experience in lieu of a degree.
• Deep experience with solid rocket motor or energetics design, development, and manufacturing with ownership of technical and programmatic outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage complex defense programs with accountability for cost, schedule, and technical scope and interface with customer.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical and programmatic execution on one or more SRM programs from proposal through production.
• Serve as primary customer and stakeholder interface on assigned programs.
• Drive resolution of complex engineering and program execution challenges using SRM expertise.
• Mentor junior Project Engineers and contribute to cross-program technical visibility.
