Job summary

The Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Senior Program Manager to develop and execute impactful programs that engage business, civic, and community leaders across Greater Boston. You will lead content strategy, speaker recruitment, sponsorships, and end-to-end events from concept through evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3-5 years in event planning.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; interpersonal.
• Strong writing, editing, and content-development skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet budgets.
• Flexible schedule with early mornings and late evenings with notice.
• Knowledge of Greater Boston business ecosystem preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, and execute a portfolio of Chamber programs and events.
• Research trends to identify topics.
• Identify, recruit, and manage speakers and moderators.
• Draft event materials and post-event summaries.
• Serve as sponsor relationship manager and fulfill sponsor benefits.
• Manage budgets, vendor negotiations, registration and logistics.
• Collaborate with Communications and Marketing to drive attendance.
