Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD, seeks a Program Planning Analyst / Scheduler to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence and manage the IMS for diverse programs. You will collaborate with program managers, engineering, and business teams to drive on‑time execution and compliance with EVMS.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with scheduling experience and a US Secret clearance. A 9/80 work schedule and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years related experience, or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Project scheduling experience using MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or other related scheduling tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Current, active US Government Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) with program milestones and contractual need dates.
• Decompose program scope into tasks and identify internal/external dependencies.
• Develop an estimate to complete based on resource requirements and schedule risks.
• Manage status updates and create internal/external program status reports.
• Ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines and processes.
