Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Principal Program Planning Analyst/SCHEDULER to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence. You will build and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and work with program managers, engineering, and operations to drive on-time performance.

This role requires a Secret clearance, a strong background in scheduling tools, and a commitment to EVMS guidelines; a 9/80 schedule is available where offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years related experience.
• Will consider 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree requirement.
• Project scheduling experience using Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or other related scheduling tools.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Current, active Secret clearance
• US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Interface with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations and Business Management to develop program plans and schedules.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze a program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) which incorporates all program scope and identifies program milestones with contractual need dates.
• Decompose program scope into clearly defined tasks and analyze internal and external dependencies.
• Analyze forecast dates, impacts, and the critical path.
• Develop an estimate to complete based on resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
• Manage status updates, develop internal and external reports on program status and identify risks.
• Ensure compliance with EVMS Guidelines.
