Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD is seeking a Program Planning Analyst / Scheduler to join our Scheduling Center of Excellence. You will develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), coordinate with program managers, engineering, operations and business management, and ensure on-time execution on complex defense programs.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree (or 6 years of equivalent experience), experience with MS Project/Oracle P6/Deltek, and the ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years related experience or Master’s degree.
6 years of applied experience in lieu of degree.
Experience with scheduling tools: MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan.
Proficient with MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Prepare, maintain, and analyze the program IMS with scope and milestones.
Decompose scope into tasks, identify dependencies, and analyze critical path.
Assist in estimating to complete based on resource requirements for scheduled tasks.
Develop internal/external status reports and identify risks impacting schedule.
Ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines.
