Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Linthicum, MD is hiring a Sr Principal Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler for onsite work with a 9/80 schedule. You will join the Scheduling Center of Excellence and work on complex programs within the MS sector.

This role emphasizes IMS development, weekly status, and mentoring junior schedulers. The position requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and willingness to travel 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years’ related experience OR Master's with 10 years’ related experience.
• 16 years of applied experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
• 8+ years in project scheduling using major scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and status the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) weekly.
• Ensure IMS plans are integrated across finance, engineering, manufacturing and quality.
• Use Gantt, PERT, EVMS, and risk analysis to guide performance.
• Mentor junior schedulers and lead multiple schedulers in programs.
• Provide IMS status to management and support proposal efforts with scheduling input.
• Collaborate with program teams and CAMs to optimize schedules.
