Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Program Planning Analyst / Scheduler in Linthicum, MD, to join the Scheduling Center of Excellence. The role focuses on creating and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), coordinating with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations, and Business Management to ensure on-time program delivery and compliant reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in scheduling tools, MS Office proficiency, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related work experience or Master’s with 3+ years; nine years in lieu of degree considered
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Current, active Secret clearance and US citizenship required
• Preferred: degree in Business Management, Industrial or Systems Engineering, Finance, Operations Management

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and analyze a program IMS with milestones and contractual need dates
• Decompose program scope into tasks and identify dependencies
• Develop estimates to complete based on required resources and schedules
• Produce internal and external status reports and identify risks impacting the schedule
• Ensure compliance with EVMS guidelines and processes
