Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Program Operations Specialist to support the Force Projection Sector's varied portfolio. You will partner with program leadership, technical staff, and support organizations to ensure projects run efficiently and sponsor requirements are met.

Responsibilities include developing SOPs, coordinating meetings and reviews, tracking schedules and milestones, and communicating progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years coordinating project operations, or 10+ years of relevant experience coordinating project operations in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to review technical information and create high-level briefings from existing materials.
• Strong communication with management and government officials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PMs and PjMs to ensure seamless program operations and deliverables.
• Develop SOPs to promote consistency and efficiency.
• Monitor compliance and coordinate sponsor engagements.
• Liaise among leadership, technical staff, sponsors to track actions.
• Coordinate logistics with security, IT, procurement, and facilities.
• Track schedules, milestones, and deliverables; identify risks.
• Support proposal development and kickoff activities.
