Job summary

AMTEC CORPORATION is seeking a Program Manager to oversee one or more programs from development through production. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure schedule, cost, quality, and performance targets are met.

The role requires a technical or business degree, MBA preferred, and about ten years of experience in defense or automotive environments. Travel is required, and this is a salaried, full-time position on site in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business discipline.
• MBA preferred.
• Ten years of experience in a Defense Industry or Automotive Industry is a plus.
• Previous program management experience.
• Experience in more than one of development engineering, process engineering, finance, operations.

Responsibilities

• Execute one or more simultaneous programs under development or in production.
• Meet delivery, quality and performance requirements for production released programs.
• Lead program teams and facilitate communication among functional representatives.
• Track schedule, quality and budget and report status to supervision and executives as needed.
• Develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule events.
• Coordinate with customers to provide program status and collect feedback.
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations and keep work area orderly.
