Job summary

AMTEC CORPORATION in Wisconsin seeks a Supply Chain Manager/Director to lead procurement and materials teams, ensuring KPI performance, on‑time delivery, and cost control across sourcing, inventory, and shop floor planning. You will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to meet contract requirements and customer schedules.

This role demands 10+ years in supply chain leadership, BOM literacy, and strong MS Office and ERP/MRP experience.

Qualifications

• 10 years leading a Supply Chain Department including procurement, inventory/warehouse, and receiving.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand BOM.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Experience with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MRP/ERP and Data Management Systems.
• Knowledge of Government Contracting requirements a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement and materials teams to source, negotiate, and optimize pricing and lead times.
• Oversee materials receiving, inventory, issuance, and shop order formation for production support.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and data submission in information systems.
• Support cross‑functional processes for demand forecasting, PO creation, and inventory records.
• Maintain supplier list and coordinate audits with Supplier Quality.
• Mentor Buyer/Planners and Materials staff; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
