Job summary

RTX invites a Principal Specialist to join the LTAMDS (Lower Tier Area & Missile Defense System) team in the LADS Sub-Business Unit. The role offers a hybrid onsite/remote arrangement with preference for a candidate within commuting distance to Andover, MA.

In this position you will gain end-to-end exposure to program execution and financial performance, develop EAC/LRE estimates, and partner with program leadership to drive staffing and process improvements in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
5 years of Finance related experience.
Experience with SAP and/or a similar system.
U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

Develop and support Quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) / monthly Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) development.
Establish and maintain program logs (Management Reserve, Undistributed Budget, BCRs, etc.).
Interface with all levels of management as well as work in a matrix environment (Director, PMs, OSC, Engineering, Finance, etc.).
Look at ways to improve current processes/cadences or set new ones.
Be a strategic partner to the program leadership team, influence at all levels of the organization, and manage staffing.
