Job summary

Draper is a nonprofit research and development organization headquartered in Cambridge, MA. The Program Finance Analyst 2 partners with internal and external customers to secure financial acumen, accuracy, and support for major national defense contracts.

The role supports baseline development, EVMS metrics, EAC processing, and program-wide revenue planning while maintaining charge numbers and WBS structures. A Bachelor's in accounting/finance is required with 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in program finance.
• Experience with Earned Value or budget performance tracking.
• Experience with DoD contracts and government regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely metrics on schedule and cost performance using Earned Value.
• Support baseline development, charge numbers and WBS.
• Maintain updates in ERP or Cobra for EV programs.
• Analyze variances to budget and assist with recovery plans.
• Analyze risks and opportunities to baseline cost/schedule/EAC.
• Maintain the Project-Activity Structure (Charge Numbers).
• Complete EAC process and time-phased forecasts.
• Develop and monitor time-phased revenue plans for programs.
• Provide inputs for PMRs and QBRs with variance narratives.
• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of receivables.
• Communicate status of program financials and funding.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
