Job summary

Draper, an independent nonprofit R&D organization based in Cambridge, MA, is seeking a Program Finance Analyst 2 to partner with internal and external customers. You will ensure financial acumen, accuracy, and support to execute major contracts in national defense, using EVMS principles and robust program financial controls.

Qualifications

• EVMS principles and DoD program knowledge required.
• FAR/CAS/DFARS familiarity essential.
• Experience with different contract types (FFP/FPIF/CPFF/CPIF/T&M).
• Knowledge of revenue recognition and program financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate metrics on schedule and cost performance using Earned Value or related processes.
• Support baseline development and WBS/charge numbers.
• Produce updates for programs with/without EV requirements in ERP or Cobra.
• Analyze variances to budget and assist with recovery plans.
• Report risks and opportunities to the baseline cost and EAC.
• Maintain the Project-Activity Structure and charge numbers.
• Complete EAC processes and support PMRs and QBRs.
• Provide time-phased plan for program-level revenue forecasting and planning.
• Supply financial inputs for PMRs/QBRs and ensure timely invoicing and receivables.
• Communicate status of funding and disposition of funds subject to cancellation.
