Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Menlo Park, CA, is seeking a Program Management Director to lead a high-value Tenant Improvement program for a premier global technology client. You will act as the primary commercial contact, ensuring fiscal discipline, benchmarking, and top-tier delivery across a mixed portfolio of $30M–$100M projects.

This on-site role (with some flexibility) requires at least 10 years in general contracting and program management, with a proven track record delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of relevant experience in General Contracting.
• PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.
• 10+ years leading commercial construction Tenant Improvement and New Construction projects, preferably in tech labs/workplace environments.
• Strong staffing, coaching, and performance management capabilities.
• Proven ability to develop innovative, scalable methods.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily team activities, schedules, and deadlines.
• Oversee large cross-functional workplace and tech lab projects from start to finish.
• Ensure schedules stay on track; escalate and resolve program issues.
• Manage internal and external relationships to support programs.
• Work with stakeholders to develop solutions and guide delivery.
• Create and distribute PMO reports and updated Gantt charts.
• Apply advanced knowledge to improve methods and processes.
• Mentor others and lead by example to align with company values.
• Influence senior stakeholders to align on program objectives.
• Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans.
• Communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse audiences.
