Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Program Director to lead all phases of major programs from capture through closeout, accountable for cost, schedule, and technical performance. The role requires strong customer engagement, cross-functional leadership, and a proven track record in DoD programs.

The position emphasizes strategic business development, teaming, and comprehensive EVMS discipline, with leadership responsibility for diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years in Engineering/Program/Management, or 10+ years with a Master’s.
• Demonstrated expertise in customer shaping, engagement strategies to establish customer intimacy.
• Proven program execution expertise and DoD/DoE experience preferred.
• Ability to lead a PM team with delegation and strategic vision.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; DoD & international experience.
• Understanding of EVMS and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of programs from capture to closeout, responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Negotiate contracts and changes; coordinate proposals, plans, budgets, and specs.
• Lead program reviews with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develop new business opportunities through teaming and non-traditional contractors.
• Provide day-to-day people leadership and foster talent development.
