Job summary

Responsibilities include influencing budget, risk, and schedule decisions, supporting RFP responses, and presenting clear, persuasive updates to stakeholders. A strong background in aerospace programs is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ related experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Two plus years’ experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule as a Project Manager, Program Manager, IPT, or team lead.
• Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills with the ability to solve issues and predict potential programmatic and technical risks.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline.
• Experience with solid rocket motors or missile defense programs.
• EVM or CAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful execution of programs across safety, quality, schedule, technical requirements, and cost.
• Manage teams to achieve all production, billing, and revenue milestones.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to program managers, interns, and cross-functional team members.
• Drive a results-oriented culture, challenge the status quo, and identify creative ways to manage cost versus risk.
• Represent Northrop Grumman to customers, communicating capabilities and aligning with customer needs.
