Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Cost Scheduling Control Analyst (Level 2/3) to support strategic and space-related programs based at Elkton, MD. You will prepare budgets, analyze funding and variance, and coordinate with program teams to ensure accurate cost/schedule baselines.

The role requires strong EVA, Excel, PowerPoint skills, and the ability to work onsite in Elkton, MD. Prior EVMS experience and a US security clearance are preferred. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Requires 9+ years of finance experience in lieu of degree or a related Bachelor’s with 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems) and cost scheduling control.
• Proven ability to prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Ability to work with internal teams and external customers to deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control systems and monitor costs/schedules on contracts.
• Prepare budgets for contract work and perform financial analyses.
• Analyze financial reports and communicate recommendations to management.
• Work with program teams to integrate cost with schedule.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting and forecasting for programs.
• Identify profit impacts and propose mitigation to improve margins.
