Job summary

Qualifications

• 9+ years of finance experience in lieu of degree.
• MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge.
• EVMS knowledge.
• Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work onsite in Elkton, MD.

Responsibilities

• Set up cost control systems and monitor costs and schedules on contracts with validated cost/schedule control.
• Prepare budgets and perform/assist in financial analyses (funding profiles, sales outlook, variance).
• Prepare and analyze financial reports and communicate recommendations clearly to management.
• Coordinate with the program team to integrate project cost with scheduled activity.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis to support business processes.
• Assist in planning and forecasting program financial performance and future strategy.
• Serve as a resource to management by reporting and investigating variances.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency.
• Identify potential profit impacts and suggest mitigation strategies to improve margins.
• Prepare and track key performance metrics for management.
