Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Elkton, MD location seeks a Program Cost Scheduling Control Analyst (Level 2/3) to support strategic and space-related programs, collaborating with program management, operational leaders, and customers.

Responsibilities include budgeting, funding profiles, variance analysis, EVMS, and integrating cost with schedules, with monthly/quarterly reporting, and planning for future program performance.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of finance experience in lieu of degree, or a Bachelor’s with 5+ years; or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Proficient in spreadsheet applications and databases (MS Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
• Ability to work in a team environment and deliver analytical reports on time.

Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor cost control systems and track costs and schedules across contracts.
• Prepare budgets, funding profiles, sales outlooks and variance analyses.
• Produce financial reports and present recommendations to management in clear summaries.
• Integrate project cost with scheduled activity with the program team.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting and analyses to support business processes.
• Assist in planning and forecasting program financial performance and future strategic plans.
• Analyze variances and communicate findings to management.
