Job summary

Arconic is seeking a SCM Production Scheduler to balance throughput and on-time delivery across production centers. You will create and maintain schedules, communicate changes, and ensure continuous inventory flow across all areas of responsibility.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and manufacturing scheduling experience, with day shifts and occasional weekend work. Strong collaboration with operations, maintenance, quality, SCM, and unions is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, or Supply Management from an accredited institution.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship not available.
• Scheduling experience within a manufacturing environment.
• ITAR requires U.S. person status.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, maintain, and communicate production center schedules.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, SCM, and bargaining unit employees to balance throughput and delivery.
• Review the previous 24 hours of production and adjust schedules as needed for adherence.
• Evaluate materials for future schedules and coordinate with downstream planners for priorities.
• Perform mill load analysis and identify roadblocks for schedule execution.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance and facilities for cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Maintain ingot pad inventories and contain/flag problem ingots.
• Day shift with periodic weekend work.
