Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope seeks a Scheduler to oversee shipping and receiving scheduling, order expediting, and inventory management. The role emphasizes developing and distributing the shop schedule while supporting shop supervision and management.

The position is developmental, with opportunities to grow into broader production leadership. Candidates should have 1+ year in scheduling/production planning and be proficient in Excel and ERP environments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year’s experience in scheduling/production planning.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities with analytical problem-solving skills.
• Must work independently in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly about order completion and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize production schedules based on department criteria.
• Monitor schedules and resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand capacity and scheduling needs.
• Collaborate with scheduling team to address scheduling issues.
• Serve as main contact for the production team and ensure commitments are met.
• Support assigned departments with L4 Board participation.
• Work with EPICS and EPICOR ERP systems.
• Review MRP inventory and create replenishment orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
