Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE) is seeking a Production Scheduler to help maximize OTIF performance across our Texas manufacturing site. You will review schedules, coordinate material flow from presses to shipping, and partner with multiple departments to keep production on track.

In this role you will monitor open orders, analyze backorder data, and support leadership with daily targets. The ideal candidate has scheduling experience, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or scheduling experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Able to operate under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Team player who works well with others.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and coordinate material flow across departments.
• Monitor orders scheduled to ship today through the next 3 days to guarantee execution.
• Analyze the EPICS/backorder data to troubleshoot and coordinate resolutions.
• Facilitate department schedule reviews to align leadership on targets and OTIF.
• Evaluate bookings to finite capacity to ensure realistic workflow.
• Audit orders to reduce set ups/changeovers.
• Follow up with upstream departments for materials.
• Assist with fast-track items and expedited orders throughout production.
