Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks a detail‑oriented professional to support the Operations or Plant Manager in scheduling, inventory and purchasing of raw materials and supplies. This role requires coordinating with production, procurement and EH&S to ensure smooth material flow and on-time delivery.

You will assist in planning, scheduling, and inventory control, while maintaining effective communication with suppliers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or relevant coursework not required but helpful.
• Experience with inventory planning and procurement processes preferred.
• Ability to learn product and supplier information.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales order releases to support capacity planning and material requirements.
• Issue production schedules to plants to maximize on-time deliveries.
• Advise on shipping information and delivery dates.
• Maintain communication with production and purchasing on material status.
• Assist in managing inventory levels with Operations or Plant Manager.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Order and supervise unloading of raw materials.
• Order parts and supplies and record in Purchasing System.
• Support EH&S training as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
