Job summary

Eaton’s IS VEH VGNA division is seeking a Materials Planning & Logistics Manager for on-site employment at the Westminster, SC location with relocation assistance offered.

The role oversees shipping/receiving, production scheduling, material replenishment and customer service, leading multiple teams with a focus on KPI management, continuous improvement, and robust inventory control in a plant certified to IATF16949/ISO 9001/14001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years’ work experience in supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum one (1) year of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Lead materials management activities through SCM team – planning/scheduling, inventory management, procurement, logistics.
• Balance current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
• Direct purchasing activities for production materials and non-production materials including capital and facilities (MRO); Responsible for minimizing purchase price variance.
• Build organizational capability through development plans, mentoring, driving accountability, cross-training & succession planning.
• Develop the replenishment strategy for value stream part numbers in the MRP system to generate requirements for manufactured and purchased parts.
