Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Material Planner to procure, pull, and expedit material to meet production schedules. This role collaborates with buyers, coordinators, and suppliers to ensure a smooth materials flow.

You will use ERP tools (Powerlink, AS400) to manage POs, monitor inventory, and address shortages while supporting continuous improvement and safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Associate or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience in material requirements planning (SAP).
• No immigration sponsorship or CPT/OPT/STEM OPT support.
• Relocation not offered; candidates must reside within Greenwood, SC facility area (50 mile radius).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end material planning and procurement using ERP systems.
• Ensure material availability to meet production schedules and customer demand.
• Manage purchase orders and supplier performance, including expediting critical materials.
• Build cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration and operational success.
• Address potential material shortages before impacting production or delivery.
• Contribute to process improvements and inventory optimization.
