Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Division in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Materials Planning Supervisor to lead a team of Material Planners and drive tactical procurement, supplier on-time delivery, and inventory performance.

You will interface with the Power Systems Sourcing team, plant operations, and finance to optimize PPV, GR/IR, and service levels while developing and enforcing standard work across materials planning processes.

Qualifications

• Supervision experience in a supply chain function.
• Bachelor’s degree plus supervision experience, or HS diploma with experience.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and prioritize planners-buyers to meet production needs.
• Drive metrics: On-Time Delivery, Fill Rate, and Inventory.
• Lead PPV and GR/IR reviews with finance on a weekly basis.
• Support savings, design, sourcing and other projects.
• Coordinate with Finance and Suppliers to ensure payment and changes are implemented.
• Develop training and procedures for an effective planning process.
• Act as voice of the customer for inquiries and capacity issues.
