Job summary

CFR Engines Inc. is seeking a Production Planner/Scheduler to develop and manage the master production schedule in alignment with capacity and forecasted demand. This role interfaces across Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing and Shipping/Receiving.

You will drive inventory optimization, analyze capacity constraints, and ensure on-time production while supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment in Waukesha, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with interface to Materials Management, Production Control, Capacity Planning and Scheduling.
• Experience with master scheduling and supply chain processes including planning, demand management, and replenishment.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, Epicor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain a master production plan that satisfies customer demand while leveling workload and optimizing inventory.
• Provide daily/weekly analysis with KPIs, identify gaps and constraints, and suggest solutions.
• Manage S&OP process with Operations, Procurement and Sales to align with financial plans.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and coordinate with Manufacturing, Sourcing and Shipping/Receiving to resolve constraints.
• Serve as the focal point with management for all master schedule communications and forecast accuracy.
• Lead forecast planning to match future demand with manufacturing capability.
• Use historical sales, distributor forecasts, and backlog to plan and achieve on-time shipments while reducing lead-time.
• Communicate significant variations in product demand to Commercial Team.
• Participate in First Article meetings and coordinate engineering changes.
• Protect company information and drive process improvements.
